Where I lived

                                             WHERE I LIVED 

        Some few years ago I used to live in Ghana. It’s neither a rich nor a big country but it’s yet one of the most friendly places I’ve had the opportunity to live in.
Most people know that I’m from Ghana but actually I was born in Badalona a town in Barcelona which is a city in Spain.
       The etymology of the word Ghana means “warrior king” and was the tittle agreed with kings of the medieval Ghana Empire in West Africa. The current capital of Ghana is Accra but most people don’t know that the capital was moved from Cape Coast to Accra by the British in 1877. In those times Ghana was called Gold Coast due to it’s abundance in Gold.
         In Ghana there are 16 regions and the due to that there are lots of languages.
Originally my family is from Kumasi at the Ashanti Region which is the second capital of Ghana and Koforidua is located in the Eastern Region from my grandfather’s family.
         But when I was in Ghana my family and I used to spend most part of the year in Asamankese which is also located in the western part of Ghana.
        I’m my opinion, if you really want to enjoy a beautiful nature kind people, nice places like the Elmina Castle, Cape Coast, Akosombo Dam, and my favourite part place of the whole till date, Kankum National Park, where you would totally enjoy your visit, learn our culture and so many more things.

MY FAVORITE PHOTO

     My  favorite photo is a very nice picture of the atmosphere and the half moon. I snapped this picture somewhere around 6:30am on the 26th of September, on my way to the dentist.
     I captured this sight because I’m a very great fan of nature, meaning the natural things of features of the world just fascinated me. And because I want to make a big album in like a year’s time.
     I love this picture because it’s a very unique one, because it has a sum of different colours and different shades due to the dark tones of the sky, which I always associate it with the beginning of a new day and new experiences.

MYSELF

   My name’s Francisca, but most people call me Franca, Francis or Xesca. I’m 16years old. I’m Ghanaian, but I was born in Badalona and went to live in Ghana, now I live In Spain (Barcelona) or Badalona to be precise.
   I’m a science student at Institut La Pineda, I just begun my senior year in high school. I stay in a flat with my mom and sometimes my brother, because he doesn’t always reside here in Badalona but rather in Germany.
   I’m dark in complexion, I have a brownish black hair, it’s mid length, curly and very stringy as most Afro hairs and to end with my physical description, I have dark brown eyes, and there are a little bulge, but not that much.
   I’m a very logic person full of curiosities and lots of interests concerning the nature and many more. I love singing, watching movies and just being silly or said in a colloquial way “fooling”  to release stress.
