Advantages and disadvantages of being an only child

Many people consider that having a brother or sister is the best thing that could have happened to you. However, some people believe that it's a nightmare and prefer to be an only child.

From my point of view, having a brother has more advantages than disadvantages and it's better than being an only child.
I will take my example. My sister, named Tania is twenty-three years old and I'm the little of my family.
This has a lot of advantages because your brother can help you in all. For example, he can help you in the homework, in a discussion with your parents or can convince them to let you go outside.
On the other hand, having a brother can be unbearable at some moments. For example, If you are the youngest, you have everything to lose in any fight with them. Your parents always tell you off for not obeying your big brother, so there are times it seems that instead of siblings, you have second parents.

In conclusion, there are a lot of advantages and disadvantages but i think that, when you grow up a little the bigger part of disadvantages dissapear, because you find more things to talk with them besides play and they can became good friends.

Buying online is the best way to shop. Discuss

Nowadays, buying online has become a really useful way to shop. People, instead of going to the shopping centre, open the computer and send their necessities. However, there are some problems on it. So, is this the best way to shop?

On the one hand, this is very comfortable because you don’t need to move from your house. If you have children and you can’t go out with them, it will be the solution for you. Another argument in favour is that if you are interested in a specific model, like a TV, is easier to buy through internet because you can compare prices faster than going to the shop. Furthermore, the delivery of products is generally free and you can use it any time of the day.

On the other hand, buying online will create a little of distrust on you because of the waiting and your expectations about the product. If you buy clothes online, you don't know exactly how they are, so they might not look good on you. The same happens with things you have never seen and you don't have any evidence that they offer a good quality.

Although I partly agree that buying online is an easy way to shop and save time, I think that we only should do it with things that we really know. That’s the way we would avoid problems and we could enjoy these new technologies.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am the headmaster of a secondary school in Badalona. I saw your advertisement for the local museum and I would like to organise a trip with my students.

I need some information about the center. I would like to know if there are guided visits. My students are absolutely keen on science, so this trip would help them to understand school lessons clearly.

Bruno Mars couldn't do it better

Have you heard about the most handsome singer of the decade, Bruno Mars? I’m sure you have. Last year, he was in a tour called “The Moonshine Jungle” which was spread in almost 60 countries all over the world.  He is a pop, rock, reggae and R&B music singer who has broken few records in the music industry in his early life.

Five months ago, he came to Barcelona to give a flawless performance and I went to his concert.  That night, we went few hours before and so, we had to wait in a queue. The only thing I’m not happy about is that when people started getting inside, the security stopped me and confiscated my drink and if that was nothing, they removed the tap of my bottle which made me furious. But I just let it go.

Then, we waited in our seats until 10 pm to see Bruno in live. As soon as the curtains covered the stage, I got nervous and in the meantime super excited. I couldn’t believe that my wish was becoming true. Every each track he played was awesome. He did some extraordinary things while singing that increased my affection to him. The concert in general was mind-blowing. I had never been to a concert before, so that’s why I enjoyed the gig that much.

Bruno Mars was even better than his own music videos, and it seems impossible but it was. He just surprised me the way he sang. I would definitely recommend this guy.
