An informal e-mail

Hi Martina!

It's great to hear from you! Sorry I didn't write you straight back soon

How have you been? As I said, I've doing my exams and I studied a lot to pass them. I didn't
Moreover, I've been sorting out some issues about the adoption of the puppy. By the way, my sister and I have changed up our mind! Finally, the name of the dog is going to be "Otto".
If we hadn't changed the name that he had, It would have been too long to pronunce! My mum said to me that a long name would have been more difficult for the dog to understand.

How about your exams? And your dog? Say "hello" to your brother for me! We must meet and catch up soon. Maybe to take a coffee or going for a walk with the dogs. How do you see it?

Hughs and kisses,

Lydia

A Report

The aim of this report is to talk about healthy eating and how fast food chains attract people to they restaurants.

Today, urgency of time or work, or the devotion to the comfort of modern life seem stronger than contribution to a healthier nutrition. Fast food has become a must for many people.
Chains like McDonalds, Burger King o Subway are examples of these restaurants. For instance, in these places we can eat chips, sandwiches and the fast-food star: Hamburgers. They have transformed nutrition in a quick and simple solution habi. Althouigh not as good for health.
This is because they taste good, they're cheap, you can eat them in a few minutes, don't have to wash dishes and you can eat anywhere.
As a result , If this type of meals becomes a habit, the consequences can be: overweight, high cholesterol, increased blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and others.

To finish, It would be interesting for all people to be aware of the irreversible consequences produced by this way of eating and look for a healthy nutrition.

Advantages and disadvantages of being an only child

Many people consider that having a brother or sister is the best thing that could have happened to you. However, some people believe that it's a nightmare and prefer to be an only child.

From my point of view, having a brother has more advantages than disadvantages and it's better than being an only child.
I will take my example. My sister, named Tania is twenty-three years old and I'm the little of my family.
This has a lot of advantages because your brother can help you in all. For example, he can help you in the homework, in a discussion with your parents or can convince them to let you go outside.
On the other hand, having a brother can be unbearable at some moments. For example, If you are the youngest, you have everything to lose in any fight with them. Your parents always tell you off for not obeying your big brother, so there are times it seems that instead of siblings, you have second parents.

In conclusion, there are a lot of advantages and disadvantages but i think that, when you grow up a little the bigger part of disadvantages dissapear, because you find more things to talk with them besides play and they can became good friends.

A review of series: Grey's Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy is an American Television Series about a medical drama. A group of medical students go to Seattle Grace Hospital after being accepted in their surgical residency program,

It was first issued in the U.S on 27th march 2005. The title of the series is based on Gray's Anatomy, a famous manual of anatomy.

So this is the beginning of the series, and it contains large closes of romance and drama and we can see doctors of this Hospital living with the consequences of life and death in their daily routine. But this is not all, because in the back-ground there are comedy,  friendship, social criticism, suspense and others. For this reason, I loved this series because it can trat a lot of aspects of life.

Together they discover that medicine or personal relationships cannot be defined with the black colour or white, but with the whole color spectrum yes.

The series has got 10 seasons and this is one of the longest series in emission and the protagonist is Ellen Pompeo, who plays Dr Dr. Meredith Grey.

In my opinion, it's a very recomendable series and probably one of the best medical series I've seen!
The actors and actresses are good and the plot is so well-written. Don't give it a miss!

The teenage years are the most important years of your life. Do you agree?

Personally, I think that teenage years are  the most important yars of our life. I strongly agree with that statement because a lot of significant things happen during that period. But, Why?

In these years, the personality has just defined completely and your social life changes. You make a lot of friends and some of those friendships will probllably continue in the future.

Moreover, teens are the support of the education, and we begin to have a little of freedom. You can decide your professional future with the studies that you choose, do a lot of things like start going out without parents, and begin to have responsabilities.

In conlusion, I agree with this topic because in my opinion, If you choose correctly what you do, these years will be the best for your and you will probably get a good job in the future.

The first time I met Lydia

The first time I met Lydia, I was very nervous because it was the first day of summer course and I didn't know anyone. Then, she came to talk with me.

I had enroled  a course of musical theatre and I arrived at the school a little later than the other girls, so everybody was already talking.

I was very shy, but fortunately, Lydia came and asked my name. And... Yes! Then we realized we had the same name and began to talk animatedly. Thanks to her, I could integrate to the group more quiclky because she knew the other girls of other courses.

It was a time I'll never forget! In this course I met amazing people, specially Lydia who I keep in touch even though we're living far away.

An important person

Marina and Paula are my twin cousins, and two of my close friends, too. We're sixteen, and we've got a lot in common. Some people even say we look sisters for our personality!

They live in Tiana (near my city), but unfortunately for me next year they will go to live in the USA to study 2nd of baccalaureate.

Marina and Paula are good-looking and always wear fashionable clothes. But i think that the best thing about them is their character. Like me, they are very crazy ad like to help others. Actually, they always listen to m and support me in all the good and bad moments.

We've been together since we were born and i know that although next year we will live thousands of kilometres apart, we will continue to be as friendly as before.

Lydia R.

Hi!

I'm Lydia Romera. I'm sixteen years old and I'm from Barcelona but I lived in Badalona city since I was born, with my parents and my sister Tania.

I only speak Spanish, Catalan and a little English, but I would like to travel more someday and learn more languages.

In my free time I go to the Academy of music to study piano because maybe I would like to be teacher in the future. I also like science, so clearly I haven't made a decision yet.

I love getting together with my friends! Actually, I can't wait to see them this afternoon.
Are you doing anything interesting now? What are your likes and dislikes? I'm looking forward to reading them!

Goodbye!
