Hi guys, today I'm gonna show a good method to improve your pronunciation: Tounge-Twisters!, also, a good way to have fun and have a good laugh.

Bellow you can find some Tongue-Twister; I already know some of them are a bit hard to say, but, Hold on, and keep trying!

A book review: Breaking Down, by Stephanie Meyer

Breaking Dawn is the fourth and final novel in The Twilight Saga written by American author Stephanie Meyer. Divided into three parts, the first and third sections are written from Bella Swan's perspective, the protagonist, and the second is written from the perspective of Jacob Black.

At the beginning of the book, Bella and Edward get married; they get married in an awesome wedding organized by Alice, Edward’s vampire adopted sister. Afterwards, Bella’s and Edward’s honeymoon starts. They travel across America by plane, and finally they arrive to Río de Janeiro. When Bella asks Edward: “Río de Janeiro? Are we gonna stay here?” he answers: “No, just a stop along the way”, then they arrive to the docks to travel by boat. Twenty minutes later from the beginning of the journey, Edward said: “Bella, look there” while he was pointing straight ahead.

Bella saw only blackness at first, and the moon's white trail across the water. But she searched the space where he pointed until she found a low black shape breaking into the sheen of moonlight on the waves. As she squinted into the darkness, the silhouette became more detailed. The shape grew into a squat, irregular triangle, with one side trailing longer. They were in Isle Esme.

The honeymoon was being perfect; also, Bella got what she wanted: have sex with Edward, a reckless topic. They stayed there for a long time, three weeks approximately, but an incident broke their cloud of love and happiness. Without knowing how, Bella was pregnant.

Then, they had to go home.

Bella has got inside an unknown creature; she has got inside a half-blood, part human, and part vampire. The fetus was growing very fast, breaking at the same time Bella’s ribs.

Finally, Bella is transformed into a vampire and gives birth to a baby girl. Now, Bella is brilliant, she discovers she has a special power, she has a mental shield. She can protect everybody’s mind if she wants. Then, all is perfect, all is balanced and the happiness is in the air, but something dangerous is coming. The Vulturi, the vampire family, comes to attack Cullen’s family. Finally it all ends successully.

In conclusion, I think that this book is really awesome and terrific. Personally, I think the book has got a good structure and, honestly, is my favorite book. I totally recommend it.

The first Cyborg

Hi guys, I'm proud to present you a very interesting news...
It's about a man that was born with a genetic anomaly...
Without further ado, here is the news:


Neil Harbisson (27 July 1982) is a Catalan raised, Northern Ireland born artist, musician and performer best known for his self-extended ability to hear colours. In 2004 he became the first person in the world to wear an eyeborg. The inclusion of the eyeborg on his passport photo has been claimed by some to be official recognition of Harbisson as a cyborg. Color and the use of technology as an extension of the performer, and not as part of the performance, are the central themes in Harbisson's work. In 2010, he founded the Cyborg Foundation, an international organization to help humans become cyborgs.

Neil Harbisson was born with achromatopsia, a condition that only allows him to see in black and white. He grew up in Mataró (Spain) where he studied music, dance and drama at various schools.He began to compose piano pieces at the age of 11. At school, classmates thought he was just being lazy every time he asked one of them to pass the red paint in an art class, or pick out a blue pen. He dressed exclusively in black and white. "What was the point in wearing something I couldn't appreciate?" he asks. At the age of 16 he started studying Fine Art at Institut Alexandre Satorras, where he was given special permission to use only black, white and gray colors in his works. Harbisson's early works are all in black and white.
  

In October 2003 in his second year at Dartington College of Arts, Harbisson attended a lecture on cybernetics, particularly on sensory extensions via cybernetics, given by Adam Montandon, a Plymouth University student. Neil found this of immense interest and at the end of the lecture he went up to Adam to explain his condition. From that moment they started working on the eyeborg project.

The eyeborg works with a head mounted camera that picks up the colors directly in front of a person, and converts them in real-time into sound waves.Neil memorised the frequencies related to each colour: high frequency hues are high-pitched, while low frequency hues sound bolder. In Vienna, they co-presented their Eyeborg project, one of more than 400 entries from 29 different countries, and won the Europrix Award in Content Tools and Interface Design (2004), as well as the Innovation Award (Submerge, Bristol 2004).

In 2007, while hitch-hiking around Europe, Harbisson met Peter Kese in Ljubljana, a software developer from Kranj, Slovenia. Kese offered to develop the eyeborg even further so that Harbisson could perceive color saturation and not only color hues. After a few weeks he had developed a new eyeborg model that allowed Harbisson to perceive up to 360 different hues through microtones and saturation through different volume levels.

 
Matias Lizana, a student from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya is currently developing the eyeborg into a small chip as part of his final year project. The new chip will allow Harbisson to hear colours in stereo and to implant the eyeborg in his forehead.

Avantages and disadvantages of being famous

• To start with, I'll begin by talking about the disadvantages of being famous.

Famous people are besieged all the time by paparazzi, in search of juicy news; in fact, it's their work. It shoud be very stressful to fail to walk relaxed on the street.
Very often, celebrities, tired to be besieged, start to fight with paparazzi to protect their privacy.
By the way, more than once, a paparazzi has ended very badly because of their continued bickering. Also, all that you do will be known by all the world.

• Secondly, I'm going to talk about the advantages of being famous.

Being famous means "money", means "a lot of money". Being famous, sometimes, is very very cool and fun. When you are famous, you get a special treatment, customized. When you are famous, everyone either loves you or hates you, but you aren't unseen, undistinguished.

All in all, in my opinion, it's cool to be famous despite the disadvantages discussed above.
Clearly, if I could, I'd choose to be famous.

My memorable Experience

Four years ago I went to France, to Paris, I had never been in France before I went there. I went there on my holidays, and I went with my parents. This experience was very exciting. As soon as we arrived, we went to the hotel, and it was so beautiful. The hotel was very big, glamourous and luxurious. After that, we went to Paris city...

At first, we went to visit the Eiffel tower, it is fantastic.

Afterwards, we went to an expensive and romantic restaurant. The food was wonderfully good, was terrific. I had never been to a restaurant so luxurious until we went there. After that, we returned to the hotel.

The following day, we went to Disneyland Paris. All the day was fantastic and incredibly exciting.

All in all, these were my favorite experiences, my favorite holiday...

Description - My best Friend

My friend Anna is in the same class as me at school. She's sixteen years old, and she's short. She has brown eyes and she wears glasses, but she usually wears lenses. Her hair is so beautiful...

Her hair is long, straight, lovely, shining and soft. Everybody loves her, and she's the best friend a person can have, you can always rely on her... she's brilliant.

Anna is cheerful, happy, pretty, confident, sensitive, helpful, polite, friendly, sociable, sensible, intelligent, generous... in the main, she's amazing. In fact, she's very intelligent although she thinks otherwise.

When I need it, she always helps me. She loves music and she's always trendy. Also, she dances brilliantly.

She's my best friend and we get on really well, I love her too much. All in all, she's a beautiful person; I never want to lose her.

Everyone should have a friend like her...
