I am writing to complain about a local supermarkets chain which throws away unsold food instead of giving it to charities for homeless people.

First of all, I was appalled by this situation.There are people who are suffering a bad situation and see that supermarkets throw food is nonsense. If they really do not need this food because they can not sell before the sell-by-date, why they not give this food to people who need it? Sorry, but I do not understand.

Secondly, I wish this could change as soon as possible because many people could eat and not have to search in the trash since I find it outrangerous.

Finally, I would like to receive an email to know if you will do some change.

For and against essay: ARE REALITY SHOWS GOOD ENTERTAINMENT?

Nowadays, reality shows are a very popular form of entertainment. I'm sure you find reality shows on most channels. There are different types of reality shows.

Firstly, I think that these programmes are a lot of variety. Not everyone like the same type of program. Some people like music or dance shows, while others prefer programmes where people show their privacy. In fact, people show their talent and they can get a job for this opportunity. Moreover, people can get their dream. Another advantage is that the people meet new people and have new and interesting experiences.

However, if you compare reality shows with other programmes or movies, we can see that reality shows dominate. I believe that there should be more series, movies and documentaries as they interest us all. In spite of music shows, dance shows, etc that are good to discover your talent, the reality shows on the people who show their lives don't contribute to anything of interest at all.

To sum up, I think that reality shows are good entertainment for a little time but not to see a lot of time. It is a good distraction. Nevertheless, I think that there should be reality shows but not in so many channels and so many times a week.

My name is Thais Cebrián. I am writing to enquire about the summer camp instructor job which was advertised in the newspaper and on the news.

I am very invested in participating in this new camp because I love to go camping, and even more if it is to be an instructor of children. I have several certificates of instructor and I am ready for this job. I would be grateful if you could give me more information. I would like to know how long the courses are.

Secondly, I'm very interested in knowing more about what languages are used in this camp, and see some activities to be undertaken.

Finally, I would like to know whether there are any posts available for people under age of eighteen. My sister, who is seventeen, is also interested in becoming an instructor.

A FILM REVIEW

My favorite film is the Noah’s Diary. Nick Cassavetes, who was the director, made this beautiful film. The main characters are Ryan Coslin (Noah) and Rachel McAdams (Allie)

At a modern-day nursing home, an elderly man named Duke begins to read a romantic story from his notebook to a fellow patient.

The story he tells is of a teenager called Allie who goes to Seabrook to spend the summer with her family. Allie met a boy, Noah, in a bar of the fair. Just seeing her Noah knew that they are destinated to live together. She is rich, and he is a poor worker, and during the summer, they fall in love. But the circumstances and the second world war, separated the lovers. Although they were far from each other, Noah was still sending letters to Allie, but she never received those letters because her mother hid the letters. Four years after, Noah returned from the war, Allie with not in his live but in his heart. She had returned to Seabrook, the place where they fell in love, but he didn’t know it. She feels awkward with Lon, who he was a rich solider that she met when she worked in the hospital. Years later, a man reads an old notebook to a woman, who visits regularly in an old people residence. This movie is a gripping history. It’s a film that makes you cry because It is a very beautiful love story

In my opinion, this is an unforgettable film about love. I strongly recommend this film it to people of all ages but from 11-12 years old onwards.

My opinion about Facebook

Some people think Facebook is only one place where we communicate and keep up to day on things from your friends. However, it is not just a place where your friends see your posts

In my opinion, I think Facebook is a social network in which everyone see all your things.  Namely, it is a place where everyone can know what you're doing at all times, stay where we also recorded all conversations and photos that we put on on Facebook. Moreover, is a social network where there are rapists who pretend to be other people and with that, they get that people to send intimate photos.

Furthermore, I believe that the people are not aware of all the negative things that can happen and then post photos and information that they should not.  However I’m not saying that Facebook is awful because if you can do a good use, you can use this social network without problems.

In conclusion, personally, I think that Facebook is a place to communicate with friends not a social network in wich you publish all your moves, nor post inadequate photos.

Hello guys! My name is Thais and I'm sexteen years old. I'm from Badalona in Spain. I live at home with my parents, and my sister doesn't live at home. My birthday is on 8th June. I was born in 1997.

I am slim and long and brown hair. I am very friendly, generous, sensible, chatty and organized.
