Nearly every big or small culture in our large history has sought to honor the divine, the mysterious, in some way or other . Most often this happens at sacred sites
However there is no need to be a believer to recognise that holy places, religious architecture, and sacred art are some of the most amazing and interesting sites you'll see in your life.
These places are so enchanting that it's impossible for anyone to resist it. In these sites the physical world seems to meet the spiritual world and only a peaceful feeling are all you can feel.
One of these spectacular sites is Taj Mahal.
Such an amazing building was constructed between 1631 and 1654 in Agra, a city that nowadays is called the city of Taj, near a river called Jamuna, by a Muslim emperor :Shah Jahan of the Mughal dynasty. Shah Jahan made Taj as a symbol of his love for his wife who died while she was giving birth to her and shah jahan's daughter.
Taj is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines more than perfectly the basic elements of Islamic, Persian, and Indian architecture.
Taj has several gardens around the main building. There are also some secondary buildings around Taj which were made at the same time as Taj. Usually there are a lot of tourists at Taj enjoying the atmosphere at the place or simply because they are interested in the architecture. A lot of people consider Taj as a holy place and they usually worship there. The Taj, which was traditionally just a tomb is now a sacred place which is visited by people around the world. Though most of these people does not even know that taj is a tomb.
Taj is a clear example of how something as sinister as a tomb can become something that people worship.
Here's video with some information about Taj . Check it if you have time.

A horrible story
It all started in 2012, when the crisis in Spain was huge and nobody could afford their basic food. My family began to starve so I decided to go abroad to earn money, but what I didn't know was that there are bad people who don't mind anything, they only want to do evil.
In mid-September, I took a plane to Denmark. I was very excited about going abroad: new people, new language, different weather... but I knew I had to go there to help my family. In the plane, I met a really handsome man: blue eyes, blond short hair, wide back... I found who was supposed to be my perfect man! And he was by my side! He stared at me, smiled and said: - "Hi! My name is Claus". From then on, we talked a lot and we became good friends.
One day we went to a very well known pub. We were talking about our lives and laughing a lot and mysteriously I fell asleep. When I woke up I was very afraid. I was in a dark room tied on a chair. I knew that the person who had kidnapped me was Claus, because I had already been there. It was Claus's bedroom.
I finally could get out of there but I can't remember how because I was still under the influence of chloroform. I ran as much as I could to the airport and I took the first plane to Spain, so I never saw him again.

It was a Sunday afternoon of September and I was very nervous. The day before, I met a boy that invited me to have a drink. Two hours before my first date I still didn’t know what to wear.
When the boy rang at the door I wasn’t ready, so I told him to wait downstairs. While he was waiting, it started to rain. After that, the boy ended up soaking wet but finally I went down and we went for a walk.
We entered to gelato and he invited me to an ice-cream. He asked for an almond ice-cream and I asked for a lemon one because I’m allergic to almond. He wanted me to try his ice-cream but I rejected until I couldn’t say no. I was ashamed to tell him that I was allergic to almonds because he liked them a lot.
When I tried the ice-cream I started to feel my allergy was starting to have an effect. In the end, he had to call on ambulance and they took me to the hospital. What a horrible first date, what a shame, I will never hide my allergies again!!!!
