An opinion essay

The violence is normal

Many people think that there is only violence in video games. However, the people don't see the violence in the reality shows, films or simply in daily life.

Personally, I think that people only see the bad things in the video games. People only see that you kill people or use arms but they don't see the beautiful stories, the love or the awesome landscapes. For example Fallout or Metro are two fantastic video games with violence and a lot of good things.

It seems to me that violence isn't too controlled for the part of the shops and parents. For example, kids can play violent video games because their parents aren't informed about what are buying to their children and sellers sell video games to children.

From my point of view it's normal that people play violent games because violence is normal, it is in all the places. So... Why do we need to hide it? By the way, I will let my kids play and see the violence they want.

What would you do to change the world?

In my view, I think I couldn't change the world alone because the world is bigger than me. But we would like to change little things about it.

For exemple, the war, it is the most terrible thing that there is now, I'm sure that the blame is on everyone that we have allowed it to happen. Many people has died and we are only looking to another side. The families that are living there are like us.

Another exemple, I think that many people buy a lot of things that after a while surely they won't use them. Personally, I think poverty is another little thing I want to change in this world. At the moment, Spain is growing up in poverty. Since last year the number of poor people has grown.

In conclusion, If we all thought about now we could change the world, I'm sure that we can do it. But first we must think everybody how to change our own life and also how we make somebody smile.

The teenage years are the most important years of your life

Some people say that the teenage years are the most important years of your life and the happiest. But why?

Personally, I wonder why they don't talk about the childhood years when they started to do things without any worries or why it couldn't be old age when they can remember with pride all their experiencies and do things they said they would do some day. But precisely it should be the teenage years. Perhaps, they were happy only in their teens.

In my opinion, years are only numbers and I refuse to believe that my most important years are now. As I read some time ago "You don't have to wait the perfect moment, you have to make all your moments perfect".

In conclusion, I think that everybody should be happy every moment and live their life as if it could be the last time in their lives.

Sound Advice

Asking for and giving advice.

- What should I do?

- You should......
- You could....
- You must.....
- Why don't you try ....+ ing...?
- If I were you, I would...........

Get together in groups of 3 or 4.
Cards should be placed face down.
The 1st player should take the card form the top of the pile and describe the situation, asking for advice.
The other players should offer advice.
The 1st player should give the card to the player whose advice he/she likes best.

Then the 2nd player may take a card from the top of the pile and so on.

The object of the game is to collect as many cards as possible, the player with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner.

Happy speaking!!

Busuu

Hi guys!

Since a time ago Alex and I we have used an application for a mobile phone called "Busuu". We are writing on this blog because we think that it could be a good way to improve our English and we recommend it to all our classmates. We like this application because you can help people who are learning Spanish and other people who speaks well English can help you. The other day Alex helped a Chinese girl with her Spanish. It's very good and funny too.

We hope that you will  follow our advice! Happy weekend!
