Advantages and disadvantages of being famous: "What does it cost to become famous?"

People probably agree with the review that says that famous people's life is perfect. But, how much truth is there in this affirmation? We don’t live together with them, so we can’t affirm or deny

anything. Surely, they must have the same or more amount of problems and the same happens with the positive aspects. But, we can disagree with that.

On the one hand, famous people can earn much money, so it’s true that money helps to improve our life quality. They can waste that money in expensive modern clothes, jewels and cars. What’s more, they can enjoy the popularity and appear frequently on magazines and newspaper. In addition, they receive gentle treatment by everybody.

On the other hand, famous people can't enjoy privacy anywhere because the reporters and "paparazzis" follow them all time. The most important aspect is that they can be millionaires but they aren ́t really happy because they can't get things that money can't buy, as real friendship and uninterested love.

All in all, I believe that the advantages of being famous are more beneficial compared with the disadvantages. In my opinion, it’s true that money can’t get the most important things in this life

as clear love or honest friendship, but it’s true also that money can help in many aspects like poverty.

Everyone should live in another country at some stage in their life

Some people thing that everyone should spend some stage in their life abroad. However, many people also think that home is the best place where you can be. There are both advantages and disadvantages.

One disadvantage of living in another country at some stage in your life is that you  are far from your family and friends. What's more, maybe you might miss their best moments or the worst ones.

An advantage is the experience of having been in another country learning things that you could had never imagined they could exist. 
In addition, everyone needs changes and doing different things sometimes. Don't you agree?

I strangely agree with living in another country at some stage in our life. I thing that it's a great experience to know and learn about our world.

"PE should be compulsory in school" Discuss.

In all high school you must have a sport subject because It's a good way to work the body and have good health although we only have two hours a week. 

On the one hand, I believe that PE is good for students because they can make friends and speak with them while they are playing sports. In addition, the person who do sport learn how to cooperate with others. 

On the other hand, I feel PE must be optional for "bachillerato" students. So many people don't want to do exercice because there are people who prefer to study science or literature subjects than PE. However, sports help us to relax and get unstressed. 

In conclusion, I don't think that the PE should be compulsory, nevertheless, I propose that PE will be an optional subject for only "Bachillerato" students because I still think the PE must be compulsory for ESO students. 

PROS AND CONS OF BEING A SHOPAHOLIC

On today's day, it is known that more young people are being addicted to the fact of spending or better said, wasting money on things that are not necessary.

On the one hand, contributing to the country's economy shows an advantatge when investing money. People who can afford buying expensive stuff are more likely to be shopaholics than a middle-class person. Unbelievely, some rich people are found to be spending/wasting money on things in order to change their bad emotions. In other words, going shopping can be a therapy against psychological problems as depression or loneliness.

However, on the other hand, the fact of giving away money to companies whose goals are nothing, is a morally wrong decision. Why investing money in economy when you can help helpless people who don't even have anything to eat, from the third world? It is not human survival our priority? So, instead of being mean and thinking about ourselves while buying unnecessary things, we should donate and contribute to companies who can supply food to hungary people.

To sum up, we should all stop our addition in wasting money on us and provide part of our money to people who really need it. 

Learning English in the nursery

Nowadays in the nursery children learn English, but learning English has advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages:

• Learning a new language, for the kids is easier.
• Learning a new language is a mental exercice, it involves the entire cognitive system.
• For the future it is a great advantage, when they will be introduced to the labour world.

Disadvantages:

• Learning a new languages sometimes confuses them, because kids mix the mother tongue with the new language.
• Kids are in the time to learn and play, but learning a new language insolves their intellectual endeavor.
• It will take longer for kids to speak a correct language.

Learning English in the nursery is a great idea, specially because kids learn a new language and for the future it is very important.

I think being an only child has the advantage that you can have all the attention of your parents for you when you’re a child, that could avoid jealousy of one brother to another, being an only child also has the advantage of having more peace and privacy at home and also it avoids the possibility of having to share rooms (something that always brings problems).

But I think there are more advantages than disadvantages because having a brother is a connection with someone that will last forever, if nothing happens he or she is the person who will share forever a bond of union. The advantage as a young child is that you always have someone to play with, and share your concerns, and when you’re adult it’s something like this but different, it can be so useful because you can always share the family problems with someone and if the relationship is good between the two, you'll have a family support forever.

HOLIDAYS ABROAD OR HOLIDAYS AT HOME ( YOUR COUNTRY)

In holidays periods, for example, summer holidays or Christmas holidays, people think about whether to travel to another country or your own country ( in my case Spain). Many people prefer travel to another country. However, currently, there are many people travelling in their own country. As in other things, this topic is a great debate of pros and against things.
For one things, travelling to a foreign country you can learn new cultures and languages. For example, you travel yo Japan to lean a new language, you learn Japanese and Japanese culture. Another example, travelling to European countries like Britain or Germany also allows you to learn languages and see landmarks like Big Ben or the Brandenburg Gate.
The downside of travelling to another country is that it is normally very expensive.
On the other hand, traveling in out own country allows us to learn more our culture and our cities. For example, in summer you can travel to coastal cities and in winter you can travel to nearby cities to ski slopes. The downside of travelling in our country is you can not learn other languages.
In conclusion, there are advantages and disadvantages of travelling to another country or your country, but I think it is best to travel to another country to learn new cultures and languages.

Advantages and disadvantages of being an only child

Some people think that having a brother is a drawback, they like to be an only child. However, some people think that have a brother is the most beautiful thing. There are several points to consider.

On the one hand, having a brother is more beautiful than being an only child. I have got one sister and one brother and I’m proud of them.

My sister’s name is Cristina, she is eleven years old and we are good friends though sometimes we fight. She is good at Science. Although we are very different I’m proud of my sister and I like to help her.

My brother is called Jordi, he is four years old and we play a lot. I love him. Having a brother or a sister is funnier than being an only child. You can play with him or her. You never get bored.

Another point is that If you have a little brother or a little sister, you can learn more, you can help him, you can change their diapers, you can bath him, you can feed him… you can practice being a mother or a father. Also if you have a big brother, he can help you. Furthermore brothers can learn to share. Only children are usually spoiled.

On the other hand having a brother is a bit irritant. Sometimes having a brother or a sister is very unbearable. They take away your things. Also they break or lose your things, they make noise… Besides you fight with them. I don’t like fighting with my brothers and I don’t fight with them, is difficult, but I’m keeping at it. I’m optimistic about my brothers.

In conclusion, there are advantages and disadvantages to being an only child, but in my opinion it is important for everyone to learn to share and help your brothers.

Is English good enough as a second language ?

It is difficult to decide if english is good enough as a second language . There are a lot of things to keep in mind. Let's see some arguments in favour this statement.

• - If we learn English we'll be able to travel to several countries without any problem.
• - Can you imagine how easy could be your life if you were able to read in English ? Don't you think it would be great to have access to things that no one else can get? 
• We all know that more information means more knowledge , doesn't it?

Despite all this strong and potent arguments there are still people who think that English is not that praiseworthy. Now we'll se these people's arguments.

• - It is more rewarding and practical to learn chinesse as it seems to be the next most important language. In fact, maybe in few years chinesse will be compulsory in schools.

It doesn't matter if you are aginst Enlgish or not the important thing is to have a rich culture.

Avantages and disadvantages of being famous

• To start with, I'll begin by talking about the disadvantages of being famous.

Famous people are besieged all the time by paparazzi, in search of juicy news; in fact, it's their work. It shoud be very stressful to fail to walk relaxed on the street.
Very often, celebrities, tired to be besieged, start to fight with paparazzi to protect their privacy.
By the way, more than once, a paparazzi has ended very badly because of their continued bickering. Also, all that you do will be known by all the world.

• Secondly, I'm going to talk about the advantages of being famous.

Being famous means "money", means "a lot of money". Being famous, sometimes, is very very cool and fun. When you are famous, you get a special treatment, customized. When you are famous, everyone either loves you or hates you, but you aren't unseen, undistinguished.

All in all, in my opinion, it's cool to be famous despite the disadvantages discussed above.
Clearly, if I could, I'd choose to be famous.

"Everyone should learn English"

Nowadays Spain and many other countries begun to force young people to learn English, bacause it is very important fot the future. Moreover many people do not like learning this language. There are Several point to considerer.

On the one hand, anywhere in the world we communicate in English. It is very important in the future because we open the doors to a new job. For example, everywhere we can speak English and we can make friends. Furthermore we learn new cultures.

On the other hand, we forget our language.

in conclusion I think learning a new language is very important and comfortable because it helps to open opportunities. English is very, very important because it is the language of the future. :)

I think living in another country is nice because you have a new experience. But when you go to a new country it is like starting from scratch, and also you miss the people that matter to you.

On the one hand I’m going to talk about the Television, it is both good and bad. It all depends.
At the moment, the television has many channels, series, the news, films, sitcoms, cartoons, also we can see the entertainment for children.
Furthermore, we see documentaries and the news these programs are to inform.
The news announce some information happening at the moment in the world, however, sometimes the news do not tell the truth.
Besides, people watch some films at the weekends so as not to get bored.
However, the television is not wonderful at all it is harmful for the eyes.
TV is bad for the people because they do not do any sports. Besides, it is bad for young people because they do not study.
To sum up, good television is a technological showcase.
When you're bored you can see it.

On the other hand, The Internet is a very developed technological apparatus along the time.
The advantages of the computer.
You can see things quickly.
Translate phrases or words in any language at the moment.
We can connect with people in another country for example, a distant relative you can see them with the webcam.
Also we can look for work without leaving home.
Furthermore, you can play games, watch movies, download music and for videos free.
The disadvantage is that internet steals a lot of time to study because it is a vice for young persons.
So much time in front of a computer may hurt your head, for example in an extreme case you could became blind.
A lot of pages also inform us that they aren't 100% certain.
If you get a virus on your computer and can break down.

Advantages and disadvantage of being Famous

All of us wish we were famous, but not all of us have a skill like singing, acting, etc... Furthermore, to reach fame we would have to work hard and above all be very, very good at what we do.

Being famous has many advantages, such as money, a famous person makes much money. On the one hand, that's good, because we would not have economic problems, but on the other hand, it can hurt you, either because it attracts envy or someone tries to steal and even fraud.

holiday abroad VS holiday at home

Now, a lot of people like traveling, which we always do in holiday, and it is increasingly easy to do you can travel around the world. So, what is better, a holiday abroad or a holiday at home?

On the one hand, a holiday abroad is longer than a holiday at home, sometime people think that it is quite tiring. A holiday at home you travel with simple transport, but a holiday abroad you need to take other transport, for exemple, plane, ship, boat, etc. So, it is clear that going abroad is more expensive than a holiday at home. What’s more, if you go to an other country, you’ll speak their language or english. There are several points to consider for a holiday at home.

On the other hand, a holiday abroad, you can get to know other cultures, and it is good for you. You can try their foods and visit this country. You can make friends with people who live there. You see things that in a holiday at home you can’t see. Furthermore, with this travel will get more experience really important for you.

In conclusion, everything has its advantages and disadvantages. For me, I think a holiday abroad is better than a holiday at home, although it is more expensive than a holiday at home. If I have an opportunity to travel, I will choose a holiday abroad. Becanse I think that the experience is really important for everyone. The world is becoming smaller, then it is important the knowledge of other cultures.

Advantages and disadvantages of being the young child

I'm the youngest child in my home. We are a lot of childres (five) and my siblings are so much older than me (my youngest sister is 29 yers old). To me it means a lot of advantages but also many disadvantages.
On the one hand, being the youngest child becomes you the darling. When you're little everyone buys you what you want and they yield to your caprices. Furthemore, if they don't do what you want, then they feel quilty and you're compensated in some way. Besides, all the time you're in the spotlight of your family and you get receive all their attention. What's more, if your siblings exceed you for many years they become your second parents and they take you to the park and you go out with their friends. They do everything possible so that you don't ever get bored.
The best is that these cares will never change even though you grow up. Besides, your siblings become your quides because what you do is not a surprise for your parents and they can help you not to do their own mystakes.
On the other hand, if you're the last of your siblings everytime yoy will be the little child. When you're older your family doesn't let you do anything: they don't let you go out because they are afraid that something will happen to you; not even going to buy bread! , sometimes you can't get into aa conversation because they speak about "adult things"... And if you fight with your siblings you have everything to lose. For example, if you share your room with your brothr or sister and you want to watch TV but your brother or sister wants to read a book he will win and, at the end, your mother tells you off for not obeying your brother or sister.
However, the worst is that if your siblings are much older than you, when you're little you feel like you're an only child, without other kids whit whom you can play.
In conclusion, there are advantages and disadvantages to being the youngest child, but I think the advantages are far more important than the disadvantages and, what's more, the disadvantages eventually disappear and the feeling of being only child is going to disappear as you get older and you find more hobbies, things that you do and things that you can talk about with your siblings besides playing "Hide and seek".

A HOLIDAY ABROAD OR A HOLIDAY AT HOME (BADALONA)

Let me explain why I prefer a holiday at home rather than traveling to another place.

Although sometimes, it's also fun to travel with friends, and have fun.

In Badalona, your can do many things during the holidays.

You can go to the beach, to the pool, and above all you can sunbathe.

And at night, you can go to bars and after that party.

On tho one hand, for exemple, if we go to London we can learn how to speak English.

On the other hand, in your hometown you can also go wherever you want because you knows your city and its places.

Going to another country can also be fun, but not the same.

There's nothing like being at home. ''home sweet home''.

A good book Vs television

This is a much discussed question. All the young people prefer television, and almost all the older people prefer books, and try to convince young people. There are several points to consider.

On the one hand, in the television you can see a lot of different programs. You can see a documentary, useful for the school; you can see a lot of kinds of TV shows, for entertaiment, or talk-shows. Of course you can see a movie too.
On the other hand, maybe the television has problems to think about them. For example, "heart" programs. In these programs all the people talk about the private life of the famous people. Or the celebrities go there and charge a lot of money to say stupid things about their life. Also there are many TV shows where the people speak so badly, they use many insults. And these programs and other violent programs are seen by children.

Another thing is the books. All the people say the book is very good for people, because you can learn new words and its good for the spelling (you can see how the words are written).
In the books there are many details on actions and objects.Another good thing is that you can take all the time that you want for reading. You can read wherever you want and whenever you want. I think one of the best thing why it's positive is because it develops imagination.
But maybe one of the negative aspects is that reading for a long time can tire your eyes. And sometimes it can look boring or long and heavy to read.

In conclusion, I think the book is better than television, however I prefer the TV because you can relax with it and only enjoy. But I still think the book is better and I try to read more and more, because when I like the book I read all the time and I really enjoy.

Internet does more good than harm

The internet is a techological invention of the twentieth century that has truly changed human lives in many aspects. Nowadays, distance has been shortened and communication improved thanks to this technological tool.

Those who are in favour of the use the internet point out many adventages. To begin with, a great a mount of information is available with just one clik. That is to say, Internet allows the world to be in contact with the latest current news. Another adventatge is that virtual communication has been enhanced. No matter where some one lives, he can be in touch with people from wherever they would live. Futhermore, the use of Internet has made shopping easier. There are many sites on the internet to shop without leaving the house or the working place.

On the other head, there is a growing body of criticism to using the internet. Many opponents advocate that as personal information is available on it, the life of an internet user can be at risk. Another disadventage is that there is always the possibility of being deceived by the sites selling products. They can be of a lower quality or ever not arrive at costomers addresses at all, in spite of being paid in advance.

All things considered, it is true to say tat the Internet brings many benefits to people's lives such as enhancing communication or allowing people to obtain products with no effort. On the other hand, further consideration of the topic shows that it has many drawbacks like de posibility of being tricked.

A HOLIDAY ABROAD OR A HOLIDAY AT HOME ?

Today every society hasn't got free time, everything is easier with technology. However everything happens faster, the time, the job, the study, etc. We are all stressed and we need a change of routine. So we all think about enjoying the time to the maximum especially during the holidays. One way to enjoy time-traveling.

On the one hand, there are people who prefer to stay at home, they prefer to relax watching TV, sleeping, going to the cinema, etc. Personally I think it's very boring, although we are tired, the holidays are to be enjoyed!

On the other hand, there are people who like enjoying the holidays traveling.

Traveling is a good idea as you can get to know new cultures, you can meet different people, you can practice other languages, you can change the environment, to sum up,it's fantastic physically and mentally.

In conclusion, the only disadvantages to traveling is money because travel is a bit expensive, however you can travel to another city in your country, you will also enjoy it.
