MY GAP YEAR

My Gap Year

During this year 2018 I will not study. I will go to different countries of the world, to learn, to taste and enjoy. 

My first destination will be Italy. I will travel by my own. The purpose of this trip will be to learn how to speak Italian and to learn more about the Italian gastronomy. I will visit the Pisa tower, the Roman Coliseum and the restaurant Osteria Francescana, among of many other places.

Secondly, I wish I could travel to Paris, France. I want to taste the most food I can of one of the most important gastronomy around the world and learn how to recreate their dishes. I will, no matter what, go to the Louvre Museum and to the Versalles palace.

Lastly, I will go to Colombia to see my family and to share with them the maximum time I’ll be able to, eating sancochos, ajiacos, lechonas and bandejas paisas.

Sunday, March 25th

Today starts Easter.. I played football and we won 3-1 versus LLefià. The whole team was very excited because this was the first match won after three games losing. After that I went to have dinner with my family. The meal was delicious.

Monday, March 26t

I didn/t do anythimg, absolutelly nothing. I was with my brother Juan Pablo and we could match Spain vs Argentina... Argentina lost 6-1... it was horrible... I couldn't sleep this night.

Thursday. March 27th

I hang out with my friends, and we had an excellent time. When I am with my friends I feel very comfortable, they make me feel safe...I don't know why... They are great!

Wednesday, March 28th

Today I woke up in the hospital.. My parents explained me what's going on with me this night. They said that I fell down and I didn't remember it. The doctors said to me that I'm better and I could leave the hospital this afternoon.

Thursday, March 29th

I did the homework, and housework.. I don't like all these things, but I haven't got another option.. Despite that, this night my aunt helped me to play the guitar and several songs.

Friday, March 30th

For the christianism, a day like today, two thousand years back, Jesus was diing on the cross for the sins of humanity. Is it true? Why millions and millions of people put his confidence in Jesus? What happened after his death? People say that he was risen.. Today I've been thinking about it...

Saturday. March 31st

Today my brother got ill, and I had to take care of him, the whole day. Now he is feeling better than this moorning. My brother is a goos patient.

Sunday, April 1st

My family and me went to the cinema, and we watched "Suddenly", it's very interesting movie. Today I can't cheer up, because Easter finishes, and the holidays too, so we must take advantatge of all the minutes..

Roger Federer's biography

Roger Federer was born in Switzerland, in Basel, the capital in 1981. His father worked for a long years. There he met Lynette, currently, she is his wife.

In the Roger's childhood, he practised several sports at school as table tennis, football, basketball etc.. When he was seven years old, he decided to play football and take it more seriously. Finally he gave up football and started to play tennis on an tennis' school was sixteen years old, he left the studies and started to travel arround the world for playing tournments like WImbledon, US Open, Roland Garros etc.

In 2003 , he was the best player in the world, since then he has won a lot of tournments. Unfortunatelly Roger suffered a hard injury, he had to give up tennis for four months.

Nowadays, Federer is 36 years old, and everybody coincides that he is the best player of tennis' history... I absolutelly agree.

Will Smith

Willard Caroll Smith is an American rapper, actor, film, television and record producer. He was born in 1968 in Philaplephia, Pennsylvania, United States. He is the second of four brothres. His parents divorced when ha was 13 years old.

Will attended Overbrook High School, didn't apply to anter college because he wanted to do rap. In 1980, Will Smith achieved a modest reputation as rapper "The Fresh Prince". In 1990, his fame increased when he starred in the series The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Although his goal was to become a great movie star and he was. The vast mojority of the films he starred in have been a blockbuster hit, coming to be called "The most powerful actor in Hollywood". He has won four Grammy Awards, an Honorary César Award and forty-one more awards, throughout his career.

He was married to Sheree Zampino and they had a son, Known as "Trey", but they divorcerd in 1995. In 1997, he married the actress Jada Pinkett and they have two children: Jaden and Willow. At the moment, they live in Malibu, California, United States.

MY GAP YEAR

On my holidays:

I went to South Korea. I visited the palace of the Joseon Dynasty, the museums, the Suncheonman Bay Gardewn, the Jeundo Island and the Lotte World attraction Park.
I tried some typical dishes like Bibimbap, bulgogi, kimchi, bingsu (ice cream) and more. 
I also learned how to cook korean food, I took old korean writing classes and I bought the tradicional korean : Hanbok.

After going to South Korea, I traveled to Thailand and I visited Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, explored tha National Park of Thailand and Nong Khai Park, there were many interesting scultures. I also explored the Island Koh Chang and the small town of Chiang Rai, there was a beautiful White Temple.

There I tried Pad Thai, one of the most popular dishes in Thailand and the tradicional dessert Sticky rice with mango. I learned to ride an elephant, I did boating on Koh Chang Island and I learned how to make floral decorations.

And to almost finish my gap year, a trip to Peru there visited my familty that is in Lima and Arequipa, after viviting them I went to Machu Picchu, visited the Nazca lines and the mountain of seven colors: Ausangate. When traveling to Peru I can taste again Pachamanca, ceviche, carapulcra and more, all homemade food is made by my beloved grandmother.  Also, I took Marinera classes, drove with an all terrain motorbike and swan with sea lions. I wish I could visit my family again. I should also have traveled to China, Dubai and Egypt.

William Bradley Pitt was born in December 18, 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma (EUA). He is an actor and producer of American cinema. His mother, Jane Etta, works as a secretary in a high school and his father, William Alvin Pitt, is an owner of a company manufacturing of trucks.

Brad Pitt went to the University of Missouri, but two weeks before graduating he left the university and moved to Los Angeles to take classes of dramatic art. Since he was young he loved the cinema. He was considered the cinema as "a portal towards different worlds". So he fought fir his dream.

Thanks to his perseverance he appeared in many movies and also he has win many prizes. His movie, 12 years a Slave, has an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award for the best movie.

Brad Pitt, has only had two marriages. He married Jenifer Aniston in 2000 but they broke up in 2005. He married for the second time with Angelina Jolie in 2014 but nowdays they are divorcied.

At the moment, Brad Pitt is working in his company Plan B entertainment and soon he will lead together with Leonardo Di Caprio a film produced by Quentin Tarantino.

My gap year

Now i will explain what trips i would make in my Gap-year.

So, first i would like to go to the south of New Zealand, because i'm interested in it. In New Zealand, i  wish to able to observe the beautiful lake Рukaki, as you can see, it has a wonderful light blue water and the beautiful montain.Also i want to visit Queenstown, it is a good place to rest. I love sport, so i would like to learn cool and  fun activities. For example i want to learn to climb and play Rugby.

I wish to try whitebait fritter, it's an omelet of eggs with fish and tomato. Also i want to try Рavlova, it is a delicious dessert. I really like it.

The second place i would go to, is cuba, an icredible counttry. I wish go to Varadero beach, to relax in that beatiful landscape and obsrve the horizon Havana, wonderful city, with its beautiful people.

I would visit this place, i want to learn a tradcional dance of Cuba, called Chachachá, that is danced with the feet.

I will swim in the beautiful beaches of Cuba. I want to eat Cuban black beans. The blacks beans are served with rice.

Yucca with mojo, made with yucca and a sauce called mojo. I wish to try it.

RIHANNA

Rihanna, is a singer, record producer, actress, model, dancer, philanthropist, fashion designer and Barbadian businesswoman. She was born in Barbados. Her mother, Monica Braithwaite, is a retired public accountant. While Roland Fenty, her father, is a warehouse supervisor with Barbadian and Irish ancestry.

She grew up listening to reggae music and started singing at the age of seven.

She began her career in 2003 when she auditioned for the music producer Evan Rogers. At the age of sixteen, Roger decided to take her to the United States to record models.

Rihanna's childhood best friend is Melissa Forde. They are always together. They love each other a lot.

MY EASTER HOLIDAYS

Friday,23 March:

I did not want this day to come, because it's the day they give us the grades and i did not like the results of my graes. When i arrived at my house i decided not to do anything.

Saturday, 24 March:

To eat my brother has prepared lentils, knowing that i hate them. I was left without eating.

Sunday, 25 March:

After a long time finally i tidied up my room, i left it very clean.
The chocolate tablet that i had stored in my closed has disappared, i think that my  brother will have taken it, because he is the only one who knows. Where is my chocolate tablet.

Monday, 26 March:

My brother and i went to the stadium of football, thinking that today he had training. The stadium was closed, so we were waiting outside. Later some men came out and told uss that today and Tuesday are holiday, and that there isn't trainig. Well...

Wednesday, 27 March:

I have broken a drawer in my closet, so i had to go to Leroy Merlin, to buy some screws to be able to fix it.

Friday, 28 March:

I have done the homework, but not a lot. After that, at last, i have seen my favorite program called,Tu casa a juicio, i love this program.

Monday, 2 April:

Tomorrow the classes will begin. I hope that they go well.

DILEMMAS

Your sister has a boyfriend and one day she asks you to answer the phone and tell her boyfriend she is ill and that she can't go out that Saturday night. You know she is planning to meet another boy that night. What would you do?

I would talk with my sister: I would tell her that what she is doing is not right, that she shouldthink things through before doing them, otherwise she would regret it. If she really wants to meet a new boy, her current boyfriend will understand, and it will be better if he finds out from her than from a third person.

I would do everything possible to make her think about it, to tell her boyfriend the truth, or not to meet another boy. In the case that she does not accept any of these options, I will have to talk with my brother-in-law. I do not like doing this to my sister, but I also have a lot of appreciation to him, I do not want him to suffer for her, and I should tell him what is happening.

BIOGRAPHY - MY BEST FRIEND

AABIR EZZANOUNI

Abir Ezzanouni is an Spanish student. She was born in 2001 in Badalona, ​​Barcelona.

Her parents were born in Morocco and came to Spain in 2000 for work. She lives with them and with her two little brothers.

In 2003, she started studying at the Llibertat School, and since 2012 she has studied at the high school 'La Pineda'.

Since childhood she has had a strong character, and has always been very responsible and organized in her studies, and very generous with the people who need it.

In her free time she likes to play sports, go to the gym. for her it is very easy to learn languages, apart from Catalan and Spanish, he also studies English and Arabic, which will be very useful when looking for a job.

He is currently in the first year of high school, in the absence of a year to go to university, he is not clear about her studies, but she has opted for the scientific studies side of helping people.
